On Hollywood Boulevard you will find the famous TCL Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Other notable attractions for entertainment fans are Universal Studios, Hollywood, and Warner Bros. Studios. Both Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Studios offer studio tours of real sets from various movies and tv shows. If you are a thrill seeker you must visit Universal Studios, Hollywood, as it also offers an entire theme park.
If you love art and vintage photographs, the Decor Art Galleries is the place for you. Thousands of photographs of some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities are on display in the Decor Art Galleries. Many of them are rare, candid photos, that you will not see anywhere else. The Hollywood Bowl also offers a display of vintage memorabilia in its museum. The Hollywood Bowl is an amphitheater in Los Angeles and it has been ranked among America’s top ten live music venues. For decades the entertainment industry’s biggest stars have been performing at The Hollywood Bowl. You can visit to check out the museum, walk around the venue, or of course, see a show.
Hollywood and the outdoors
For those of you who love the great outdoors, there are some amazing opportunities in the area to get outside and enjoy nature. Wilacre Park and Coldwater Canyon Park are two popular parks in the area that offer walking trails and peaceful scenery. Right near Wilacre Park, is the Fryman Canyon Loop. For those who are up to it, Fryman Canyon Loop offers a great hike with moderately challenging terrain. If you are looking for an easier path North Valleyheart Riverwalk has the perfect terrain for a light run, walk, or an afternoon stroll in the beautiful California sun. If fresh air and scenery are what you are after, check out Universal City Overlook. The overlook offers a clear view of the mountains and Los Angeles.
Another way to enjoy being outside and in the sunshine is by visiting the Studio City Farmers Market. The Studio City Farmers Market has several vendors offering farm-fresh produce, packaged foods, hot foods, beverages, baked goods, and even a few artisans. At the market, you can find anything from flowers, fresh-pressed juices, organic kombucha, breads, pastas, cheeses, and much more.

If you are searching for a great restaurant, look no further. Ventura Boulevard is one of the busiest areas in Studio City. It is no surprise that it is home to several great restaurants. Asanebo, Diachan, Katsu-Ya, and Iroha Sushi of Tokyo all offer outstanding Japanese fare. Lal Mirch offers great Indian cuisine with several vegetarian options. Mantee Cafe is a charming cafe that offers Armenian-American cuisine. Laurel Tavern is a unique gastro pub that serves craft beers and is most known for its amazing burgers. Black Market Liquor Bar serves up tasty craft cocktails along with small plates. Artisan Cheese Gallery is a lovely wine and cheese bar that also offers traditional cafe fare.
Some other great restaurants in Studio City located off of Ventura Boulevard are Joe’s Falafel, Henry’s Tacos, Aroma Coffee & Tea Co., and The Front Yard.
If you are looking for dinner, drinks, and entertainment, Pinz Bowling and The Dinner Detective are two spots for you. Pinz Bowling has a full restaurant and bar as well as 32 bowling lanes and an arcade. The Dinner Detective is a murder mystery dinner show that allows guests to take part in an interactive show where they can solve the mystery and have a delicious dinner.
With all of these amazing activities in Studio City, you are going to need a place to stay. On Ventura Boulevard there are a few hotel options including BLVD Hotel & Spa, El Royale Hotel, Studio City Courtyard Hotel, and El Patio Inn. Other hotel options include The Garland Hotel in North Hollywood and the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City.
